Steve Sinkoff
Steve has been a marketer since the beginning of his career. With a BFA from School of Visual Arts (NYC) in 1981, he spent 3 years as professional photographer. For the next 15 years he worked as a marketing communications producer, developing brand identity programs, multi-media and integrated marketing campaigns for organizations such as IBM, Pepsi, Kraft, Dannon and SAP.
From 1996 to 2004 he ran the sales, marketing and operations of a business consulting company and thereafter served as President and CEO of Eventure Events, the North American joint venture with Eventful Management of Australia.
Steve heads up Eventful in the US, the fastest growing market for the group. He and his team have recently (September 2010) produced the group’s largest ever conference with almost 1000 people in attendance. In this role Steve will expand the current communities served and explore new growth opportunities both inside and outside North America.
Steve also serves as the board president of the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park, a unique outdoor sculpture park that brings together art and nature, showcasing both established and emerging visual and performing artists. When he is not working, or climbing vertical ice walls in upstate New York, he and his partner Lisa enjoy growing, cooking and eating food from around the world. Steve has two children, his daughter Kyle and son Leo.
