Doug Hay

Doug manages the Global Partner program, ensuring that both our Enterprise Technology and Enterprise Asset Management partner communities derive significant value from their important and loyal investment. 

Doug was the Marketing Manager for SAP Australia and New Zealand from 1994 to 2003 and was instrumental in establishing SAP’s marketing group which included corporate branding, marketing communications, sales planning and support, and the strategically important move into lead generation within SAP’s vertical industry structure. 

He has enviable and long-lasting relationships (and friendships) with SAP and their key partners in the USA, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, including the SAP SDN and BPX groups, SAP Mentors and product managers. 

Prior to SAP, Doug served in marketing, sales and product manager roles for Information Technology and High Technology companies that included SSA Pacific, Thomas Electronics and Imagineering. 

In his 50’s, Doug brings ‘grey matter’ to the team, a necessary ingredient to balance the overflowing well of exuberance and passion. He swims most days, does yoga and gardening to relax, and combines his love for bush walking, travel, vintage wines, and cooking by participating in food and gastro walking trips in France. He is married with two children.
