Carolyn Watt
Carolyn is responsible for the quality, innovation and sustainability of the Eventful Group’s brand portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. She leads a diverse and skilful team of researchers and producers that creates and delivers more than 20 conferences and training courses each year, most of which attract 300+ people.
A born and bred New Zealander, Carolyn first started working in the conference industry in Auckland in 2000 with IIR (now the Informa Group). In 2002 she moved to North America to produce large scale events in Employment Law, and then London where she spent 2 years producing financial training courses. At the end of 2004 Carolyn made the (now permanent) move to Sydney - and to Eventful Management.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Otago, a Certificate in Project Management from ESI Training and a Certificate in Human Resources from George Washington University and Council on Education in Management.
Carolyn lives by the beach with her family, loves the outdoors and is a mad sports and music fan - she takes every opportunity to go to live sports matches (mostly rugby) and music gigs.
